I’m an Electrical Engineer 

I hold a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta, Canada. For more than 25 years I’ve been a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). I am committed to the highest personal and professional conduct that you expect from an engineer. As an IEEE member, I recognize the importance of technology in our lives and accept responsibility for promoting it honestly, safely and realistically. 

I’ve Worked on Highly Technical Engineering Projects

For 12 years I worked on the development and implementation of Canada’s Air Traffic Control Radar Systems. I’ve lived on the inside of engineering teams like yours, so I understand what you’ve put into the development of your products. Having been a project manager myself, I know how to take complex system specifications and turn them into sequenced project plans.

I'm a Small Business Manager

For more than 13-years I've been the business manager of my wife's medical practice. I've been responsible for financial planning, accounts receivable, accounts payable and personnel. I've seen the many challenges a company can face throughout various business cycles. I understand how to find solutions to build value and mitigate financial risk.

I’m a Trained Copywriter 

I'm a member of The Professional Writers' Alliance. Unlike most engineers, I’ve taken copywriting courses from one of the world’s best independent training companies, American Writers and Artists, Inc. (AWAI). I’m trained in the architecture of writing persuasively. I know how to approach business-to-business writing in a clear no-nonsense style that will appeal to even the most skeptical decision-makers.
